When designing and calculating staircases, I normally create a corresponding area that is 15 metres high, for example. This is then the staircase. In this area (staircase usage profile), I place various calculation surfaces that symbolise the stairs.

Although these calculation areas are assigned to the area, no target values are assigned to the calculation areas.

If the assignment of the calculation areas to an area would work (you can assign them, but without any effect), then the check boxes of the calculation areas would also show whether the target values of the entire area are being adhered to.
