Firstly, I'd like to say that the automatic report generation in DIALux is excellent. It saves a huge amount of time and provides a consistent output.

That said, I'd love to see much greater flexibility in the report designer. At the moment, every DIALux report looks essentially the same, regardless of the company or designer producing it.

It would be fantastic if we could create fully customised report templates with features such as:

Custom page sizes (A4, A3, A2, etc.)

Editable title blocks with company branding, Client branding

Custom viewports for plans and elevations

Custom render viewports with adjustable layouts

Custom results tables

Custom luminaire schedules

Material take-offs and equipment schedules

Greater control over page layouts and formatting

Many engineering consultancies and lighting designers here in Australia present documentation in a drawing style rather than as a standard report. Being able to produce professional, branded drawing sheets directly from DIALux would eliminate a lot of manual work currently done in InDesign, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, or PDF editors.

The automatic reporting engine is already a fantastic foundation. Giving users the ability to customise it (Like AGI32) would make DIALux an even more powerful documentation tool and allow firms to produce reports that better reflect their own standards and branding.

I'd be interested to hear whether other users would find this valuable as well.
