DefaultMaterial setting to be set globally in settings

Hi DIALux team!

In my everyday work it became a normal practice but suddenly I realized I can just propose the change here 😀

So the thing is that in every project when I add a new cube or other default object it is inserted with 70% reflection factor. Since it's almost always some shower bench, or stair step, or vanity in bathroom, or a bed placeholder - they are never that 70% white in real life so I have to go to materials and manually drag & drop some edited material with approx. 30-40% reflectance.

The current approach is very time consuming and boring. Is it possible to set up default properties for NEW objects in settings same as it is now done for beams, columns, platforms, ramps?

CAD plan not showing through green shade

New user, first project and have been doing the tutorials.

I've imported a cad file, built the building. Following the tutorial (utube), the cad floor plan does not show through the green shaded area. I made sure the cad line work was black.

Match or copy/paste room properties/requirements.

Imagine having many differently shaped rooms that all share the same requirements. You would have to edit each of the room properties one by one. However, if you would be able to set up one room and then have the other rooms match this first room's properties, this would save a lot of time. I'm talking about properties such as: Utilization profile, working plane height, wall zone, maintenance method and factor.

Australia Standards implemented in Dialux EVO!

Loading IFC File

I am facing the challenge where after loading an IFC file in DIALux Evo 14 Pro environment, in an attempt to save it, the 'save' gets effected but the IFC file vanishes from the DIALux Evo 14 Pro environment and it pops a message that 'This is not an IFC project'; what could I be doing wrong or what is the best to go about loading an IFC file?

Light wont go through a cutout

This is a project that has caused me problems before. There are quite a few cutouts as well as glass materials. I have tried deleting the ScenegraphScene, as well as "Force geometry generation during loading", and even modifying the exterior walls, but it stays the same.

Clarification on Grid Value Changes After Applying "Exclude Subspace" in DIALux

Hi,

While performing the DIALux calculation, I noticed a significant change in the grid values after applying the "Exclude Subspace" option.

Before applying "Exclude Subspace", DIALux produced one set of grid values. After enabling "Exclude Subspace", it generated a different set of values. My concern is that the blue-highlighted grid values shows a considerable change compared to the initial results.

I was under the impression that "Exclude Subspace" would only exclude the specified subspace from the calculation and would not affect the illuminance values at the remaining grid points.

Could you please clarify why the values have changed so significantly? Is this the expected behavior in DIALux?

Would you be able to introduce a shortuc that would allow copy by dragging ? (holding ALT???). This is very usefull when dealing with repetitive objects / luminaires
