With Rectangular grids, the points are aligned to the first side. With polygonal grids, they are aligned X/Y. Suppose you want the grid to align with a direction there are two ways - 1) you draw a rectangular grid with the first side aligned correctly, then edit the rectangle to be polygonal, or 2) you then have to rotate the grid in the positioning tab. This rotates the defining points as well as the grid. You then have to edit the positioning points again.
Method 1 negates the need for the polygonal entry, but we need polygonal grids. It's also not something you automatically think of when entering a grid for the first time and it you then rotate the calculation object to be vertical, not something that's easy to correct.
Please can we have the ability to align the grid to a specific angle but keep the external defining points as they were entered?
