Hi DIALux team,

I'd like to have a more flexible ceiling tool. I work with many residential interior projects and use a lot of strip lighting.

When the cove lights are literally in each and every room it takes crazy amount of time to build the ceiling and then install lines of LED strip.

So for the ceiling tool it would be cool to have two more settings for the lip that hides the light (img1):
- Lip height
- Lip width

This thing is used almost in each project, so I believe at least half of worldwide lighting designers community will be happy to have it.

Another thing would be great to have is the possibility to add at least one cove in a ceiling with all above options. Because currently we have to add 9 (nine!) ceiling instances to have only one cove (img2):
1 - highest level of the cove
2 - one ceiling for most part of the lowest level
3 - one smaller ceiling to fill the gap
4 - ceiling to close the hole between 2 & 3
5 - the same but from another side
6, 7, 8, 9 - are lips on four sides to hide the strip
Also it makes glitches between elements after calculation (img3).

As for me the ideal tool would be a ceiling in which I can edit outer contour, able to tick something like "Add a cove in current ceiling", then freely edit the cove shape in plan view, set distance of shell floor, set ceiling thickness, close sides, set offset, set lip height and thickness
AND
Choose "Add a luminaire for strip light along the cove perimeter", align its rotation in all three axis, set distance from lip.

It would be simply perfect!
