Use the saved File Name as the Project Name

Once upon a time, in a better place and in a better era, Dialux Evo had this minor, yet very useful feature, and for reasons beyond my ability to grasp, they decided to suddenly pull it, leaving dust and extra clicks behind:

This was my original workflow:

  1. Save a project

  2. Project name automatically populates with the file name

Due to the recent changes, this has become my necessary new workflow:

  1. Save a project

  2. Go to the Project tab

  3. Click on the Project name field

  4. Change the project name to the same name I just entered in the save window

Alternate new workflow:

  1. Before saving, got to the Project tab

  2. Click on the Project name field

  3. Change the project name

  4. Save the project (file name automatically populates with the project name)

I'd prefer my original workflow, giving me back 2 clicks per project, and saving me the annoyance of giving the customer a professional looking documentation with the unwarranted generic "Project" on all pages.

Here's my logic: The file name is usually, at least by me, a well thought out name relevant to me, the designer, to be able to locate it easily at a later date and understand at a glance what it is, and to the customer who will receive the documentation. So why not use that same name for the project? Of course you can always change it, if needed, but if the project name hasn't yet been changed, why not default it to the file name?
