A daylight calculation is not possible without daylight relevant building openings.

Hello,

The building has about seven to eight floors, and we would like to review the daylight effect from the dome-style skylight on the roof to the spaces.

If you use the “Apertures” tool, daylight calculation becomes straightforward, but it doesn’t apply to objects. Therefore, I tried using the “Materials” tool by creating a glass material (Transparent, Reflection factor 90, Degree of transmission 90, Refractive index 1.5). However, I received the message: “A daylight calculation is not possible without daylight relevant building openings.”

Is it possible to use the “Materials” function to calculate daylight?

Thank you!
