DIALux 12.1 (with Hotfix applied) crashes on startup

I've been having an issue with launching DIALux. It does not display anything in the window and displays the following error when attempting a task kill. The installer was downloaded three days ago, so the Hotfix for the imperial units issue should have been applied. Unfortunately, reinstalling the software did not solve this problem.

Edit (Mar 22 15:38 PM GMT): Reinstalling the redistribution package or restarting the computer did not solve the problem.
