I have a question regarding the calculations of the emergency lighting,

When I made emergency lighting calculations using Dialux evo 11.0 for my project, the result is different from the consultant lux study, they made it using Dialux 4.13 and they use fewer fixtures than my study !!.

I noticed that the consultant take reflection factors (ceiling 70% - Walls 50% - Floor 20%) and that is not acceptable as they will contribute to increasing the lux level,  the required lux level is (10.8 lux),

I need to know the reason why there is a difference in the results between dialux 4.13 & dialux Evo with the emergency new function,

So  more emergency fixtures are used in my report for each space compared to the consultant lux report !!,

You can compare for example Server Room ( 6 Em fixtures 60*60) & the same room in the consultant lux report Page (55), the lux level >=10.8 lux is achieved using only 2 fixtures, not 6 fixtures as per the consultants’ lux report.
