grid type definition

Hello everyone,

I have an issue regarding the grid type.

If I select the working plane surface in the "calculation object" section I see that I can select also the grid type, choosing between "very fine resolution" and "according to EN12464". The default choice is "very fine resolution" but the thing is that if I choose the second one I have much better result in terms of the U0 value. Also, I assume that a grid type according to a legislation should be much proper.

Can someone please explain to me what is the difference between the two grid type? Can I use the "according to EN.." just like that or should I use it just in any particular case? Also, why in the "according to EN.." i cannot change the calculation point number?

Thanks

Isabella
