Hello,

I am having a hard time replacing my current(old) IFC model with the updated one from the architect's model.

I am working on a huge basement and the architect just updated walls and other areas. I cannot rebuild the entire thing with all the correct calculation points and planes with all the measured cutouts and etc. I just need the lights to stay as is and just simply replace the IFC background mode.

Whenever I tried to import the model, it just gives me a whole new set of project with nothing in it. I basically have to spend another four to five hours to setup everything again including the light groups and dimming setup....

Can someone please help me what is going on here?

I had this problem about 8years ago, but I am sure it is fixed now...

Can someone please help me ASAP? It is really costing our firm's energy and time if we have to redo the entire calculation for a small changed area.
