Skid model import the furniture file type (SAT file, .3DS) calculation taking time?

Skid model import the furniture file type (SAT file, .3DS) calculation taking time & File size too big. Is there any possible the reduce the output time & file size.

Also, any easy way without import 3D file. Model the dialux.
