In a few weeks, we will release the next version of DIALux evo. Among other features, DIALux evo 12 supports the Open BIM workflow fluently. You will be able to import the 3D building model easily in DIALux. This means you have no longer to create the geometry in DIALux. You can immediately start designing your light. Once your design work is finished, your planning result can be exported back as a 3D lighting model (BIM / IFC). This functionality will be part of our new DIALux Pro version. For this version we will charge a fee of 29,99 € per month. The formerly Pro Features, the export capability to Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as the customization of the layout, will be included in the price.

By the way, don't worry that the use of DIALux evo might be charged in the near future. This is not our target. Lighting design with DIALux will always be possible free of charge. Only some features that are useful for very professional users will be included in the Pro Version. With this revenue, we ensure that we can support your work as lighting designers even better in the future.
